‘Plot’ rumours are govt fiction : Democrats
The opposition Democrat Party yesterday cast doubt on the mysterious so-called plot to overthrow the government, as concocted by some Pheu Thai Party figures, saying it was a fiction that could further fractionalise society.
Democrat Party leader Abhisit Vejjajiva said the claim was a “political tale” aimed at convincing the public that there was a movement to bring down the government.

Chuan Leekpai, a former prime minister and chief adviser of the Democrat Party, said he respected Mr Worajate’s right to express his views.
“I am not concerned so much over the views of Mr Worajate or the Nitirat group as I am by an underground movement to attack the monarchy,” he said.
“Whether by unsigned petitions or CDs, there is a movement under way.”
